Dans le jardin (in the garden): thickly scraped oil paint with palette knives on canvas.  High color with a damar varnish gloss sheen. This series began upon visiting France and Italy.  The hundreds of floral gardens, thick vines, hedging and sweeping tree branches make up the colored landscapes on canvas.  A brush and palette knife are used to apply paint onto the canvas, pushing and pulling the oil paint as I move from one location to another.
