At a very young age I found that I could pick up a brush or a palette knife and simply paint the image in my mind. My inspiration coming from the post war abstract expressionist master artists, the photographs I take, and the natural world around me.

My early work was geometrically inspired, which led me to art school, where I received my degree in Graphic Design. Since then I’ve worked full-time as an artist, designer and photographer. Recently, I have been photographing the canyons, mountains and peaks in and around Arizona. Then painting those images in oil on canvas and paper.
