At a very young age I found that I could pick up a brush or a palette knife and simply paint the image in my mind. My inspiration comes from the post war abstract expressionist artists, and the natural world around me.

My early work was geometrically inspired, which led me to art school, where I received my degree in Graphic Design. Since then I’ve worked full-time as an artist, designer and photographer. Recently, I have been photographing the canyons, mountains and peaks in and around Arizona. Then painting those images in oil on canvas and paper.
